Saudi- Importation of living animals of Equine species from Turkey banned

Riyadh, 09 Rabi'II,1439 AH, 27 December,2017 , SPA --The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has temporarily banned the importation of living animals of equine species from Turkey.
Director-General of the Department of Animal Risk Assessment Dr. Sanad Al-Harbi said that the ban was based on the warning bulletin issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and reports on the emergence of equine infectious anemia.
