Saudi- OIC Seeks to Hold an Iraqi Reconciliation Conference

Jeddah, Rabi'II 09, 1439, December 27, 2017, SPA --The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has sought through its offices in Baghdad to hold the reconciliation conference along with the Department of Political Affairs of the OIC General Secretariat in coordination and consultation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Reconciliation Commission in Iraq.
OIC aims at setting the comprehensive foundations of the Iraqi fabric unity and works in coordination with concerned Iraqi official bodies through comprehensive consideration began in 2006 for the religious dimensions in line with Makkah document (1) in preparation for "Comprehensive National Reconciliation Conference'' next summer.
