Reynado B Angulo, a social worker, arranged for the repatriation of the Aguilar's body.

He said the body arrived in General Santos City on December 18 and was transported by land to Banga, South Cotabato in Mindanao, in the country's far south.

Aguilar worked as a chef in Dubai for five years but left in 2014 after a dispute with his employer. Aged just 45, he returned on October 27 to look for another job.

Sadly, it was not to be.
