Pakistan- Khassadars seek job security after FATA reforms implementation


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) JAMRUD: Officials of Khassadar Force on Tuesday held a meeting with Member National Assembly Al-Haaj Shah Jee Gul Afridi to convey their concerns over possibility of losing their jobs in case of implementation of FATA reforms.

The meeting was held in Jamrud where havaldars and subedars of Kassadar force told Shah Jee that their primary concern is their job security in case of merger of KP with FATA or establishment of a separate province. They said Khassadars should not be removed from their jobs keeping in view their sacrifices for the country.

Shah Jee assured the Khassadars to make all out efforts to resolve their problems. He said arrival of police in FATA will take many years and Khassadars will perform their duties till then. He also assured that he will make efforts to make sure that all the Khassadars retain their jobs till superannuation. He said all the problems of Khassadars including promotions, pensions and other matters will be discussed with concerned authorities.

The Khassadars thanked Shah Jee for his cooperation.
