(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) CHARSADDA: Jashn-e-Shabqadar Sports Festival got underway in Shabqadar area of Charsadda on Wednesday.
Competitions in cricket, volleyball, football, kabaddi, tennis, badminton and other sports will be organised during the festival. About a hundred teams will participate in different sports competitions which will continue for 20 days.
Organiser of the festival, Jehangir Asif, who is a social activist, told TNN at the inauguration ceremony that the purpose of the event is to bring forward the talent of local sportsmen.
