(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H E Dr Ali bin Talib al Hinai, Undersecretary for Planning Affairs in the Ministry of Health chaired on Tuesday the second meeting of the joint cooperation committee between the Ministry of Health (MoH), Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) at the ministry's building.
The meeting was held in the presence of Dr Ali al Bemani, SQU vice chancellor and the committee members of the three institutions. The meeting discussed several cooperation aspects between the ministry and the university on the training programme for the doctors of excellence, teaching and training the medicine faculty students, developing a unified system of data on diseases, and the E-link project between the medical libraries in the sultanate.
The meeting also highlighted the utilisation of the higher diploma nursing graduates from the Master's programmes in the Nursing College at SQU as well as the importance of the research cooperation between the three institutions.
