Qatar University honours QIIB


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar University (QU) has honoured QIIB during the annual ceremony held by its Professional Services Center to recognise partner employers.
QIIB is co-operating with QU to achieve its visions and realise its programmes in addition to participating in activities related to training, habilitation and employment.
Ali Hamad al-Mesaifri, chief of human resources and general services at QIIB, received the honour from Dr Hassan Rashid al-Derham, president, QU, at a ceremony attended by representatives from various spheres in the country.
Al-Musaifri stated that 'QIIB cherishes its partnership with QU, which is considered as a pioneering and reputable educational institution in Qatar. QU used to and is still graduating distinguished competencies, which serve the country's labour market in various sectors.
'QIIB is keen on continuously enhancing the co-operation with QU, be it in the field of training students or participating in professional exhibitions held by the university that act as a major link between the university and the labour market, he mentioned.
Al-Musaifri added, 'Within the scope of its strategy in human resources, QIIB is keen to pay attention to the training, habilitation and co-operation with various educational institutions, in particular QU, which has graduated many of the key staff currently working in the bank; and we will continue implementing this strategy in future.
