Storm Tembin weakens while it approaches southern Vietnam


(MENAFN) Southern Vietnam had been at major of a tropical storm, though it appeared to have weakened and is anticipated in 48 hours to dissolve.

Storm Tembin is currently 170 miles south-southwest of Ho Chi Minh City with 93km/h winds, as confirmed by the Weather Prediction Center.

A warning flag has been raised in advance of the prediction as almost million people were called for to evacuate while nearly 70,000 were transferred from low-lying parts.
