(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Spring Festival, conducted by the organising committee of the Private Engineering Office, got underway at Souq Waqif yesterday. The festival will continue for four months - until April 25, 2018, Souq Waqif director Mohamed al-Salem told the official Qatar News Agency. He said this edition of the festival will feature a variety of events that will spread joy among visitors. The festival would offer surprises to the public from time to time, he noted, adding that the event will attract people of different age groups through a variety of activities for adults and youngsters from different nationalities and communities, including tourists, citizens and residents. Souq Waqif Arts Centre will also participate in the festival and offer workshops for adults and children. The Spring Festival will be open to the public from 3pm to 11pm. PICTURE: Shemeer Rasheed
