Qatar- MEC recalls Yamaha MW125 model


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has announced the recall of Yamaha MW125, 2015 model, due to looseness of the nut that fastens the transmission.
The recall is being carried out in collaboration with Al Badi Trading & Contracting Co, dealer of Yamaha motorcycles in Qatar.
In a statement, the MEC said the recall campaign falls within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that motorcycle dealers follow up on defects and repairs.
The ministry will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
