(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Dec 24 (KUNA) -- Egyptian authorities announced killing nine "terrorists" and arresting nine others during raids in Sharqia and Cairo governorates on Sunday.
Security forces executed a crackdown on a farm in Sharqia, killing nine suspects and seizing weapons and ammunition, Egypt's Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
It added that the operation prevented a number of planned terror attacks in the country. (end) rg.ag
