55 Kuwaitis graduated from Sudan's command, staff college


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KHARTOUM, Dec 24 (KUNA) -- Some 55 Kuwaiti officers on Sunday were graduated from the joint command and staff college in Sudan.

Speaking during a graduation ceremony, Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir hailed the participation of many officers from sisterly countries in such training courses as a reflection of the close ranks and unity among these countries as well as the employment of available potential for mutual benefits.

Meanwhile, commander of the college Ahmad Al-Fekki congratulated the 466 graduates.

He stressed that the college welcomes officers from Kuwait and other Arab and Muslim countries.

He added that the graduates were granted Masters Degrees in Military Sciences at the end of the course.

Staff Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Al-Thayadi, speaking on behalf of the Kuwaiti graduates, said that that the 10 month-long course included many lectures and practical trainings. (end) mmm.hm
