Civil Defense extinguishes boat fire in Doha Cornishe

Doha: Civil Defense contained a huge fire that broke out a few hours back in a fishing boat in Al Bandar at Doha Corniche.

The department said that the cause of the fire is not known.

A huge fire was reported after which the Civil Defense units immediately went to the scene to extinguish the fire. It completely destroyed the boat, though no one suffered any injuries.

Some social media users have posted videos on the sites, showing the boat burning.

The Ministry of Interior published a tweet that the fire had been extinguished without any injuries.

The tweet could be roughly translated as follows: "Civil Defense controls the fire of a fishing boat in Al Bandar at Corniche of Doha without injuries."
