OECD: UAE ranked at the world's largest development donor
(MENAFN) Based on data released by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), UAE has been ranked at the globe's prime donor of developmental aid relative to its national income.
UAE aid has arrived at $4.24 billion in 2016 marking the gross national income (GNI) of the country at 1.21 percent, based on OECD statistics.
The statistics also demonstrated at least 58 percent of aid the UAE offered was provided in the form of grants.
