Flights delayed, cancelled as fog engulfs UAE

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Fog and mist continued to engulf most parts of the country on Sunday morning, causing flight delays and cancellations.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued an advisory for residents as foggy days are set to continue for next few days. The weather department issued an advisory of poor visibility of less than 100 metres over most northern, central and eastern, internal and costal areas.

Emirates tweeted that the early morning fog in Dubai will impact arrivals and departures.

According to flightradar24.com, few arrivals at Dubai International Airport have been delayed this morning. Although not confirmed but fog seems to be the reason for the delay.
