(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Dec 23 (KUNA) -- The Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation on Saturday organized a march in Istanbul to express solidarity with Palestinian teenager Ahed Al-Tamimi recently detained by the Israelis.

Hundreds of Turkish university students took part in the march that started at the Galatasaray School, center of the city.

The march was organzied under "From Captivity to Freedom; We Walk Silently" to be the voice of Al-Tamimi, 16.

Raising pictures of Al-Tamimi and the Turkish and Palestinian flags, protesters walked in a 2,500-meter line. They voiced utter rejection of detaining teenagers, saying it is against all international laws.

On Tuesday, the Israeli forces detained Al-Tamimi and her mother Nariman, from their house in Nabi Saleh village, central Ramallah. The following day, they arrested her cousin Nour Al-Tamimi. (end) ta.msa
