(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Dec 23 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian man was dead due to injuries he got from clashes with Israeli forces near Palestinian eastern borders, according to medical sources.
In a statement on Saturday, Palestinian government spokesman Ashraf Al-Qadra said the 28-year old man succumbed to injuries sustained during last Sunday's clashes in Jabalia, northeast of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qadra condemned the use of unidentified gas by Israel, which caused suffocation, vomiting and racing heart rates to citizens, medical staff and journalists. Al-Qadra also called on international organizations to immediately intervene and determine the type of gas used.
Meanwhile, clashes on Friday left two Palestinians dead and 123 injured by live ammunition and gas bombs. (end) wab.mk.ag
