Saudi Squad Beat Kuwait, as Gulf 23 Tournament Inaugurated

Kuwait, Rabi'II 4, 1439, Dec 22, 2017, SPA --The first Saudi team started the 23rd Arab Gulf Cup tournament, kicked off here today with a 2-1 win over hosts Kuwait, at Gaber International Stadium, in the first match of the 1st group.
The Greens, vigorously, started the game, opening the scoring in the 13th minute by Salman Al-Muashir who took advantage of a pass from Ahmed Al-Feridi, that set him clear against the goalkeeper, shooting, calmly, to find the back of the net.
The Saudis kept controlling of the game and almost added the second goal, before the half time.
In the second half the Saudi team continued to distinguish and managed through Mokhtar Falattah to score the second goal, in the 52nd minute.
On the other hand, Abdullah Al-Breiki of Kuwait reduced managed to score for Kuwait, its sole and solace goal in the 60th minute, with a powerful shot from inside the box, as he met the ball, on the volley.
