Pakistan- Police prepares comprehensive security plan for Christmas
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, 22 December: The capital city police has prepared a comprehensive security plan to maintain law and order and thwart any untoward situation on the occasion of Christmas, senior police official said here on Friday.
According to the plan, as many as 1000 police personnel will be deployed on different churches. The police personnel would be assisted by the elite force.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Tahir Khan said that there would be complete ban on parking vehicles near churches. Mobile vans of the concerned police stations would continue patrolling in the surrounding areas.
The police personnel performing duties outside the churches would allow entry only after thorough body search. Similarly, women police constables would be deployed to search female worshipers.
