Oman hosts late Yemeni leader's family members


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT, Dec 22 (KUNA) -- The Sultanate of Oman said on Friday it has received 22 members of the late Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh's family.

The Omani move is part of this Gulf country's humanitarian efforts to handle the current happenings in war-torn Yemen after coordination with authorities in Sanaa, state news agency (ONA) reported.

They will be rejoining their families in the Sultanate, who have been living in Oman since the outbreak of the Yemeni crisis, the ONA added. (end) ma.mt
