The local people said the girls school in Jehangir Killi, Ali Masjid, was upgraded to middle level two years ago. They said the building of the school was also completed in 2015, but classes were not started due to which the area students were compelled to travel to far situated schools in Jamrud and Landikotal.

People of the area said they were not able to afford travel expenses to far situated areas and eventually their girls stopped going to schools. They thanked the administration for starting classes in the school on priority basis.

'The school in Jehangir Killi was small and the strength was very high due to which the students were facing difficulties. We are very thankful to the administration which took notice of the difficulties faced by the students and took prompt action,' Amanullah, a local citizen, told TNN.
