Kuwait- 27 yr old Syrian tries to rape 49 yr old Indian woman Ukrainian woman's daughter abducted

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: A 1990-born Syrian expatriate attempted to rape a 49 year-old Indian woman inside a grocery store (baqala) in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. The rapist entered the baqala and attempted to force himself on the woman but the woman screamed for help, which was heard by a passerby who rushed to her rescue. Meanwhile, the suspect managed to escape. When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the rape attempt, a team was sent to investigate. They took down the details of the suspect and later managed to arrest him. He has been locked up in police custody on rape charges and is awaiting the case to be heard at the Public Prosecution.

'Daughters abducted': A Ukrainian woman has filed a complaint with the Hawalli police accusing her ex-husband of kidnapping their two daughters, 3 and 4 years old respectively and taking them out of the country, reports Al-Rai daily. However, when the man returned to the country and was taken into custody on the strength of the complaint filed by his ex-wife, he denied the accusation. He added he is entitled to see the girls for a certain number of hours upon a court verdict and one day when he took them out and returned them to their mother since they are under her guardianship, she refused to take them. He added, he had no option but to take them to his home country for their safety. He also said he is ready to hand over the girls to their mother if she is willing to accept them. Intensive investigations conducted by securitymen revealed the ex-husband was telling the truth and several cases were earlier filed by the complainant against him
