UAE to fund 3,000 scientists for new research center


(MENAFN) The Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Future Research has been introduced by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Aiming to carry out new research on space science and technology, 3,000 scientists are to be funded through the first sequence of research initiatives of the centre.

State news agency WAM released a statement made by Sheikh Mohammed saying "our future plans require a solid foundation of scientific research, which comply with our aspirations. Our goal is to create the means of communication between our young scientists and scientists from around the world, to exchange knowledge, transfer experiences and build our national research capacities."
