Oman- ISC Urdu Wing Mushaira to be organised on December 22

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The much-awaited Urdu Wing annual Mushaira is on Friday, December 22 at Ministry of Education Auditorium at Wataya. The gates will be open from 6.30 onwards. Urdu Wing of Indian Social Club is a non-profitable literary and cultural organisation, which has been organising literary events in Oman since their inception in the year 2006.

The convener of Urdu Wing, Mohammad Faizi, emphasised that Urdu Wing aims to continue the long-standing tradition of promoting Urdu language along with 'tahzeeb' of Indian culture. The event is being organised to promote urdu, the idom of heritage and affection, which is a prominent language of daily use.

As per Syed Salman, cultural head, Urdu Wing, the event will see the stage set with prominent poets including Nawaz Deobandi, Anwar Jalalpuri, Lata Haya, Muzaffar Abdali, Siya Sachdev, Shareef Bharti and Anwar Kamal.

The event is presented by Al Omaniya Financial Services, Oman's most prestigious and largest non-banking financial institution, celebrating their 20 years of operation in Oman.
