(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Nissan was a top winner at the second edition of Oman's Most Trusted Brand Awards ceremony recently held at Shangri-La Barr al Jissah Resort & Spa.
Nissan was the only company to win in two categories at the Oman's Most Trusted Brand Awards conducted by Apex Press and Publishing. It won in the automotive (mid-size) and automotive (SUV and 4WD) categories at the awards that were decided by public feedback.
Nearly half a million votes were cast to select the winners in 26 categories. This is the second consecutive year that Nissan has won Oman's Most Trusted Brand Award which is about endorsement of the public trust in a brand. The prestigious award is presented to brands most trusted by the public in the country.
The winners of the Oman's Most Trusted Brand Awards were honoured at a ceremony held under the auspices of H H Sayyid Tarik bin Shabib bin Taimur al Said and the patronage of H E Dr Ali bin Masoud bin Ali al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry.
A senior official of Nissan Oman from Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA) said, 'We are delighted and would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our customers and well-wishers for their continuous support, confidence and trust. It always feels wonderful to win an award that is based on public voting. Our loyal customers have bestowed us with this honour and we are immensely grateful.'
