A commanding beggar

THE beggar I refer to here is Abu Hamza Al-Masri who Great Britain sheltered, fed and clothed, he and his family, and the man later turned against the host country by inciting ignorant young British men to turn against their country and against the entire Western civilization. It is yet to be known why and how Abu Hamza lost his hands. Over the years he has been telling different tales about how his hands were 'chopped' off. Once he said he lost his hands during a road construction work in Afghanistan. He also said he lost both hands while fighting the 'mujahedeen' in Lahore, Pakistan, when a bomb accidentally went off. This is how the extremist fundamentalists behave.

This is their tradition. They blow out of proportion their fake legends. Abu Hamza, the former preacher of the Finsbury Park Mosque in north London, was extradited to the United States of America. After he was extradited to the US the judiciary found him guilty on 11 counts of terrorism in October 2015.

Since then he is serving a life term in the high-security 'Supermax' Prison in Florence, Colorado without the possibility of a parole. Abu Hamza spends 23 hours in solitary confinement and one hour for recreation. According to his lawyer, he is requesting to be returned to his former relatively comfortable jail in London, UK.

However, the US has turned down his request after he was found guilty of incitement, to bomb the World Trade Center in New York, and bragging about it.

The double amputee, Abu Hamza, is blind in one eye. He suffers from diabetes and psoriasis. He must shower at least twice a day because of his neurological condition which causes excessive sweating. This is why Abu Hamza has appealed, through his lawyer, for his return to his British jail where he finds more comfort.

The cost of this appeal will be paid for by the US taxpayers. This is in addition to the cost of his trial in the UK in 2004 which cost the UK taxpayers about £1 million. We say to Abu Hamza, he and many others of his ilk should be grateful that they are not in the jails of the countries of their birth, where they adopted ideas and nurtured terrorism from intellects and literature back home.

The prison Abu Hamza is complaining about calling it tough is considered a five star hotel compared to the jails in his country of origin, and all that we can say here is, 'He is a stipulating beggar.'
