SHARJAH, 20th December, 2017 (WAM) -- Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, SCHS, and its 'Al Amal Camp 28' initiative are distinctive models of social responsibility, says Hessa Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, praising also the volunteers efforts across all the SCHS committees.
While visiting the Al Amal Camp 28, she expressed her happiness to see people of determination take part in artistic and creative tasks. She called on individuals and institutions to realise the deep meaning behind the principle of community responsibility and practice that encourages integrating persons with disabilities as active members of societies, while guaranteeing their full rights.
Al Amal Camp 28 activities included educational arts and crafts activities including painting, collages, handicrafts and ceramics, as well as workshops on carpentry, painting, electronics, and taekwondo.
