Kuwaiti MP faces three years in jail
(MENAFN) Kuwaiti MP Abdulhamid Dahsti is facing serious jail time as he was sentenced to 3 years defaming Saudi Arabia.
He was convicted of spreading false news last November, in which damaging national interests and relations between neighboring countries Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
The Criminal Court convicted Dahsti in absentia.
