(MENAFN) The issuing of tourist visas by Saudi Arabia is soon to be launched in the first quarter of 2018.
As Saudi Arabia undergoes major economic and social reforms, this move is considered a first for the kingdom, a top tourism official said.
"All government approvals are in place for the launch of electronic visas next year to all nationals whose countries allow their citizens to visit Saudi Arabia", Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz said.
"We are now just preparing the regulations who is eligible for the visas and how to obtain them", he added.
