Kuwait- Turkish forces kill 5 PKK members in eastern Turkey
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Dec 18 (KUNA) -- Five members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) were killed during a Turkish military operation eastern Turkey, said a security source Tuesday.
According to the Anadolu News Agency, the source indicated that the operation was carried out in Bingol province, east of the country.
Meanwhile, the Turkish authorities announced earlier on the arrest of 51 PKK suspects in Izmir province western Turkey.
Turkey, the US, and the EU consider the PKK as a terror entity. (end) rs.gta
