UK: four detained on suspicion of terrorism offenses
(MENAFN) During raids in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, a total of four men were confirmed to have been detained on suspicion of terrorism acts and escorted to a police station in West Yorkshire.
Counter terrorism officers apprehended three of the suspects aged 22, 36 and 41 in Sheffield while the fourth aged 31 was detained in Chesterfield.
The suspects were arrested on suspicion of taking part in the commission, preparation or instigation of terrorism offences under the Terrorism Act 2000.
