UAE motorists urged to drive safely as rain continues


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Commuters got stuck in traffic due to scattered rain that hit several parts of UAE on Tuesday morning.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) hasurged motoriststo drive safely during the rainyconditions. During rains, drivers must reduce speed avoid speeding and overtaking other vehicles, it advises.

- RTA (@RTA_Dubai) According to Google Maps data, huge tailbacks were observed on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11 - from Al Nahda street towards Dubai.

Slow moving traffic with heavy congestion was reported near Dubai Investments Parkinterchange towards Abu Dhabi. No accidentshave beenreported so far.

Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternative routes wherever possible.
