Pakistan- Imran should expel Jehangir Tareen from PTI: Ziaullah Afridi

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, 19 December: The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader and former provincial minister Ziaullah Afridi has said the Pakistan Teheek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should expel Jehangir Tareen from the party after allegations of hiding assets were proved against him.

Addressing a party meeting in Peshawar on Monday, Ziaullah Afridi said the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has failed in all aspects and the politics of Imran Khan is full of lies and deceit. He said Imran Khan expelled him from the PTI despite the fact that no allegation was proved against him, while he is not expelling Jehangir Tareen even after proving of allegations against him in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Mr Afridi also criticised the Awami National Party (ANP) for doing politics in the name of Pakhtuns. He said the ANP hasn't done anything for the masses.

Ziaullah Afridi, who was a minerals minister in the PTI government in KP, was expelled by Imran Khan from the party two years ago over charges of corruption. He has joined the PPP now.
