JAC Motors launches in Brazil


(MENAFN) With an investment of about 61m USD, JAC Motors of China said it will open its first plant in Brazil.

The plant which is expected to take two years and create about 820 jobs, will be located in the state of Goias and will be able to produce up to 35,000 vehicles each year.

After JAC Motors Brazil president Sergio Habib introduced the project in a meeting with Goias Governor Marconi Perillo, the company has made the announcement.

The company expects a 40% growth in its vehicles sales in Brazil this year, which is way above the average growth of the market of 11%.
