Stamps launched to mark Qatar National Day

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has released a new set of stamps in commemoration of Qatar National Day 2017.
The uniquely designed pair of stamps, sponsored by Ebrahim Al Neama & Sons Holding Group, aims to celebrate the 'uniqueness of Qatar and its resilience as well as its glorious achievements under the leadership of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Qatar Post has said in a statement.
The QR10 stamps, featuring landscape views, can be found at the Qatar Post General Post Office as well as in branches spread across the country and the philatelic e-shop.
Qatar Post chairman and managing director Falah al-Naemi said: 'It is our great pleasure to issue these unique stamps in partnership with Ebrahim Al Neama & Sons Holding Group. To us, there is no better way of celebrating the glorious occasion of the National Day than commemorating it with the issuance of these stamps, which are collector's items.
'We are proud of the great strides Qatar has continued to witness under the able leadership of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and it is our belief that this year's National Day is unique in all ramifications; hence, the need to celebrate it in a special way.
