Citymax Hotel Al Barsha Crowns Maxx Idol Winner
(MENAFNEditorial) It finally happened! Maxx Idol, the hugely popular signing competition, ended its run last evening with the Grand Finale at MAXX Music Bar in Citymax Hotel Al Barsha. On the mega night, six finalists battled it out for the first, second and third spots with a win that left little room for surprise. Ivy Grace Parades, Wednesday Caritan, Victoria Szydlak, Mikhaella Paula, Enrico Sesbreno and Sheryl Ballester went head-to-head for one final shot at the Maxx Idol crown.
Ivy Grace Parades beat all to become winner of Maxx Idol title along with cash prize of AED 20,000. Ivy had been heavily favored to win being lauded throughout by the judges and fans for her strong vocals. She outperformed all during Saturday nights competitive show. Sheryl Ballester and Wednesday Caritan took the second and third spots respectively with cash prizes of AED 10,000 and AED 5000. Cash rewards of AED 2000 were given to the three other finalists. In addition, all participants got to enjoy 20% off on food and beverage.
Shibu Baby, General Manager from Citymax Hotel, said, It was a spectacular end to the mega show with the audiences thrilled with the contestants outstanding performances. From the very beginning it was a very exciting and tough competition with over 75 singers taking part in the contest. Over the last few weeks we have seen some brilliant performances and are very pleased with the success of the show. It gave an opportunity to local talent to show their capability to a wider audience and we are proud to have initiated it. We would like to thank all the participants and judges for being part of this amazing event.
