Kuwait- SCPD extols partnership with UNDP


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 17 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development (SCPD) Khaled Mahdi said on Sunday partnership with the UN Development Program (UNDP) has produced several successes in a short space of time.

Speaking at a ceremony to honor UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Representative Zineb Benjelloun, Mahdi said SCPD-UNDP cooperation has generated a national cooperation program that has been put in place since 2005.

Thanks to this fruitful cooperation, a total of 16 projects has been established to support a host of state agencies, mainly the ministries of interior, and social affairs and labor, Public Authority for Manpower, Public Environment Authority, State Audit Bureau, Anti-Corruption Authority and Public Authority for Sports, he boasted.
