AFP: man arrested for allegedly acting as North Korea's 'economic agent'
(MENAFN) Australian Federal Police (AFP) confirmed the detainment of a man in Sydney for suspicion of acting as an economic agent for North Korea.
The suspect identified as 59 years old Chan Han Choi was given charges of brokering unlawful exports from the country as well as talking about the supply of mass destruction weaponry.
However, police stated that regarding the suspect's contact with "high ranking officials in North Korea," no proof has been found as of yet.
