Jordan- Minister: Aviation industry important for the national economy
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec 16 (Petra) –– Transport Minister Jamil Mjahid on Saturday checked on the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission's (CARC) key achievements, challenges, opportunities and efforts exerted to upgrade the industry.
"Jordan enjoys a good international reputation, in addition to having one of the best airlines in the world that apply international aviation safety and security standards," said Mujahid.
In a meeting with CARC Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Haitham Mesto, and a number of Commissioners and Executive Directors, the minister stressed the importance of human resources development and upgrading technical and professional capabilities, while keeping pace with the constant advancement in the sector.
