Jordan achieved progress on business indicators, minister

Amman, Dec. 16 (Petra)--State Minister for Investment Affairs Muhannad Shihadeh said Jordan has achieved progress in recent years on a number of business indicators including Doing Business report in which Jordan gained 15 places (118 in 2017 compared to 103 in 2016).
In a dialogue session held by the Jordan Strategy Forum, the minister said that Jordan Investment Commission gives special attention to business and investment indicators as the investment environment is important for doing business, which will lead to further economic growth.
The government, he added, had put an executive plan to improve measures and develop the business and investment climate in the Kingdom, highlighting the role of the commission in stimulating the economy and attracting foreign investments into the Kingdom.
