AFG College celebrates Qatar National Day

AFG College with the University of Aberdeen celebrated Qatar National Day in the Al Maamoura based campus on December 11. The event also marked the end of the first semester of the academic year 2017-2018. Dr Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani, Founder and Chairperson of the Al Faleh Group and Brian Buckley, Principal of the AFG College with the University of Aberdeen co-hosted the event in the presence of the University faculty and college staff, along with University students. Both students and staff participated in various activities and prizes were awarded to commemorate students who have positively contributed to the student experience.

AFG College with the University of Aberdeen recently opened its doors to undergraduate students reading for degrees in Business Management, and Accountancy and Finance. The University of Aberdeen is the 5th oldest University in the UK and has over 500 years of heritage in research and higher education.

The University offers vast opportunities for all its students and alumni, across a range of different specialisations and with the establishment of the University of Aberdeen programmes in Qatar, it marks the institutions first international partnership.
