Kuwait- Filipina Maid wrongly claims rape

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: An unidentified Filipino charwoman, (part-time maid) has been detained for interrogation for accusing a 69-year-old Egyptian of sexually assaulting her inside his apartment in Jabriya, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, after the woman filed a complaint with the Jabriya Police Station, the man was summoned for interrogation and he denied the allegation. The woman was then cross interrogated and police discovered she was lying.

Car thief killed: A bedoun man died on the spot while a Kuwaiti who was in the passenger seat sustained serious injuries following a twovehicle collision in Khairan, reports Al-Rai daily. According to a security source the bedoun died when the vehicle overturned upon impact. Surprisingly, it has been reported the bedoun was driving a car reportedly stolen from a Kuwaiti woman. According to a complaint filed by the woman with the Salmiya Police Station, she had put out the car for sale and the suspect showed his intention to buy. Before buying he requested to make a trial run and drove off with the vehicle. The citizen will be interrogated after he is discharged from the hospital for his role in the car theft.
