Jordan- UN committee on Palestine meets today

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) New York, Dec.14 (Petra) -- The United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People is schedule to hold a meeting Thursday evening at the UN headquarters in New York.
The committee, which is chaired by the Ambassador of Senegal, Fode Seck, was established by the UN General Assembly in 1975 to enable the Palestinian people to exercise their inalienable rights. Its meetings and international conferences focus on the urgency of bringing about the two-state solution and mobilizing assistance to the Palestinians.
