SAMA Governor Meets with his Iraqi Counterpart

Riyadh, Rabi'I 25, 1439, Dec 13, 2017, SPA -- Dr. Ahmad bin Abdulkarim Al-Khulaifi, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), met here today with Dr. Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI).
The visit aims to form a joint team between the SAMA and CBI in order to consolidate a direct cooperation among the banks between the two countries within framework of developing and activating the banking relations.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interests and ways of developing banking relations between the two countries. They also discussed cooperation with regard to remittances and relations among the Saudi and Iraqi banks and others.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
