(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Dec 13 (KUNA) -- The Israeli army blocked the two border crossings with Gaza Strip under the pretext of missile firing from the Strip.
In the light of the evaluation of the recent security developments, Israel decided to seal off the crossings of Karm Abo-Salem (Kerem Shalom), south Gaza, and Beit Hanon (Erez), north Gaza, Israeli government spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Palestinian protesters have been staging protests and mass rallies along the border areas between Gaza Strip and Israel since last Thursday in the wake of the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as capital of Israel. (end) wab.gb
