UAE- HAFZA holds Investors' Meeting on VAT

SHARJAH, 13th December, 2017 (WAM) -- The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, HFZA, has held an Investors' Meeting for guiding its investors on Value Added Tax, VAT, which will be introduced from 1st January, 2018.

HFZA's VAT Advisors gave insights into the functional features of the new law. It was followed by an interactive which evoked an enthusiastic response from the gathering.

Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HAFZA, said that the meeting exemplifies HFZA's philosophy of being an investor friendly business location. He added that the authority is committed to facilitating means to investors for navigating unchartered territories and facing new challenges such as VAT. He advised all companies to comply by the law in letter and spirit and carry out all procedures in a timely manner.
