Klimkin, State Department official discuss Nord Stream 2
"Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with Acting Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs Sue Saarnio. During the meeting, views were exchanged on a number of issues of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector," the statement says.
It notes that special attention was paid to the situation with the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project. The U.S. side emphasized the unchanging policy of counteracting the construction of this gas pipeline.
In addition, the parties stressed the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation in the field of cybernetic security, including in the energy sector.
