(MENAFN)An official said on Monday that seven Asians, including a woman have been arrested by Abu Dhabi Police, after being suspected of strangling a woman to death.
The Asian woman, aged 38, has been murdered in her apartment in Abu Dhabi.
The main suspect was a friend of the victim and lived with her in the same apartment, said Major General Omeir Mohammad Al Muhairi, director of criminal security department.
After he fought with the woman, he called the other suspects who lived in other emirates, and urged them to come to the apartment, where they killed her and stole her valuable belongings.
The police then received information of a body lying inside the apartment, and quickly rushed to the scene where they found strangulation marks on her neck.
