Kuwait- New cabinet members take oath before His Highness the Amir


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at the Amiri Airport on Tuesday, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah who presented to His Highness First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior retired Lieutenant-General Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Khaled Al-Saleh, Minister of Finance Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Sabeeh Barrak Al-Sabeeh, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Nasser Abdullah Al-Rawdan, Minister of Information Mohammad Naser Al-Jabri, Minister of Health Dr. Basel Hmoud Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Bakheet Shbib Al-Rasheedi, State Minister for Housing Affairs and State Minister for Services Affairs Dr. Jenan Mohsen Hasan Ramadan, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Hamed Mohammad Al-Azmi, Minister of Public Works and State Minister for Municipality Affairs Husam Abdullah Al-Roumi, State Minister for National Assembly Affairs Adel Musaed Al-Jarallah Al-Kharafi, Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Adviser Dr. Fahd Mohammad Mohsen Al-Afasi who took oath before His Highness on the occasion of their appointment in their new posts.

His Highness the Amir delivered a speech on the occasion in which he welcomed and congratulated the new members of the cabinet, appreciating their acceptance to take part in the new lineup.
His Highness the Amir welcomed the tremendous efforts exerted by His Highness the Prime Minister in the formation of the cabinet, hailing at the same time efforts of the previous ministers who had worked tieressly in carrying out their responsibilities entrusted upon them, wishing them all the best.
His Highness the Amir added that the new government formation comes amidst critical internal and external challenges which require wisdom and farsightedness to deal with, in addition to doubling of efforts in order to adress such critical cirmustances for the best interest of the homeland and its people.
His Highness also called on the new ministers to work as a one team based on cooperation, confidence and mutual respect between the legislative and executive branches, saying he was fully confident that the ministers would be able to achieve best interests of the dear homeland and citizens, wishing peace, stability and prosperity to prevail.

For his part, His Highness the Prime Minister responded to His Highness the Amir's speech by thanking His Highness for the confidence entrusted upon himselef and the rest of the government members especially amidst these critical circumstances, expressing appreciation for such confidence saying, "we will work hard to be fit for it".
His Highness the Premier asserted that such challenges and dangers facing the region require that efforts be doubled in order to adress such challenges in order to achieve ambitions of the dear homeland and its people.
His Highness also expressed commitment to work tiressly with his colleagues to fulfill their oath thanks to the noble directives of His Highness the Amir, saying that the government would work positively with the National Assembly to achieve the sought ambitions. (end)
