Egypt, Russia sign agreement to start construction of Daba'a nuclear Reactor

Cairo, Rabi'I 23, 1439, December 11, 2017, SPA -- Egypt and Russia today signed an agreement to start work on the project of the nuclear power station in Egypt and supply nuclear fuel.
The agreement said that Russian side will supply about 80% of the foreign component while Egypt provides 20%. Daba'a accommodates eight nuclear station, and four nuclear reactors will be built at the first one according to plan.
